ECA Opens 90,000-Square-Foot Prefabrication Facility in Kansas City

Electrical Corporation of America (ECA) has opened a new 90,000-square-foot prefabrication facility in Kansas City, Kansas. Located at 8701 Elmwood Ave, Suite 600 in KCMO, the facility opened in January 2026 and is already supporting active projects across ECA’s national portfolio.

The new space is built for the kind of work that used to happen on job sites, such as measuring, cutting, assembling conduit banks and electrical components before they ever reach the field. Back in the day, that work was done on-site, which meant more labor, more variables and more congestion in already demanding construction environments. Now, those assemblies are built in the prefab shop and shipped to the jobsite ready to set and connect.
